Tribe Tech is a disruptive developer and manufacturer of autonomous mining equipment. The Group was founded in late 2019 in Western Australia and has since established a headquarters and manufacturing facility in Northern Ireland. 

Handpicked from across the globe, our diverse team of industry specialists in mining, production and product commercialisation, develop and deliver innovative solutions to some of the industry’s biggest challenges and offer global support to our international clients.

Initially founded to create a safer, more efficient work environment through the use of fully autonomous and safe drill rigs in the mining industry, the Group’s core activities are the development, in-house manufacturing, and sale of its autonomous Tribe Tech Drill Rigs incorporating its core proprietary IP, Tribe Technology Drilling System “TTDS”. 

At its core, Tribe Tech is a company based on innovation, with a large commitment to Research and Development, and intends to strengthen its IP portfolio in order to deploy it in related applications such as truck-mounted RC drill rigs.”

Caroline brings more than 30 years’ experience in financial services and capital markets ranging from equity research to investment banking and asset allocation. Caroline is Managing Partner at CounselRock Partners, a specialist hedge fund research and alternative investment consultancy. Caroline has previously held executive roles in European Research at Commerzbank and Goldman Sachs International. She is currently a non-executive director of healthcare management consultancy Lexica, Natural Environment Research Council (NERC-UKRI), British Business Investments and fintech ETHEX. She is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and a member of the CFA Institute.

Preeti brings over 10 years of non-executive directorship expertise within public listed international companies and 20 years of operational and commercial experience within deep technology companies scaling start-ups with strong IP and technology to mass commercialisation. She has worked with top tier original equipment manufacturers in multiple sectors including Telecoms, Mobile, Aerospace and FinTech. Preeti has held non-executive director positions at Ensurge Micropower ASA, GFinity Plc and Maistro Plc, and executive leadership roles at IDEX ASA and Filtronic Plc. She also has experience within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector including operational positions at Cadbury Schweppes. Preeti holds a master’s degree in management from Ashridge Business School.

Tim is highly experienced in public affairs, having worked in senior staff roles for Australian Government Ministers. Tim previously held senior leadership roles at ASX quoted Fortescue Metals Group Limited spanning eight years. Tim was formerly elected councillor of the Australian Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC).

Mike has over 20 years’ experience in corporate finance, investment, and as non-executive director. Mike is founder and Managing Partner of Cordovan Capital Management Limited having established the company in 2011. Cordovan is a private equity investor and advises Cordovan Capital Partners II L.P., a micro-cap private equity buy-out and growth fund. Mike is non-executive director on numerous private company boards and a non-executive director of Rockpool Acquisitions Plc., an LSE Standard Listed company.

Derek graduated as a mining engineer from Camborne School of Mines. He has over 30 years’ experience in the drilling and drilling technology industries including at global firms such as Boart Longyear. Derek was a director of Imdex group companies in Australia, Canada, The Netherlands, South Africa, Sweden and the UK. His experience includes holding leadership roles in international sales & marketing, R&D collaboration, M&A and investor relations.

Experienced management consultant and chartered professional accountant (CPA) with 10 years’ experience in the mining industry including working for a number of public companies. Eric has experience in the drilling industry and has led mining related projects for Deloitte Consulting across four continents ranging from mine planning, lean operation, and maintenance improvement projects.

A highly experienced general manager with 15 years commercial & operations expertise in the mineral exploration & mining industry, including working on rigs. He is recognised for his ability to build customer connections and commercial relationships. Charlie has worked for three of the largest drilling companies in Western Australia and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
